2. English Language Proficiency:
For applicants whose first language is not English, demonstrating proficiency in English is essential. The following standardized test scores are generally accepted:
• IELTS: A minimum overall score of 6.5, with no individual band score below 6.0.
• TOEFL iBT: A minimum score of 81.
• PTE Academic: A minimum score of 63.
3. Application Process:
• University Application: Prospective students must apply directly to the partnering university offering the desired program. For example, applications for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing are submitted through the University of Saskatchewan’s application portal.
• Suncrest College Registration: After applying to the university, students should also register with Suncrest College to access support services and resources available at the college’s campuses.
4. Supporting Documents:
Applicants are typically required to submit the following:
• Transcripts: Official transcripts from all previously attended educational institutions. If the original transcripts are not in English, notarized translations must be provided.
• Proof of English Proficiency: Official test scores from recognized English language proficiency tests.
• Passport Copy: A copy of the applicant’s valid passport.
5. Application Fee:
A non-refundable application fee is required during the application process. For international applicants, the fee is typically $140 CAD, payable through platforms like Flywire.
6. Study Permit:
