Parthenope University of Naples History

One of the universities located in Naples, Italy, is the Parthenope University of Naples. The University "Parthenope" was founded in 1920 as the Regio Istituto Superiore Navale, that is, as the Royal Naval Technical Institute of the Kingdom of Italy, now one of Naples ' fully accredited universities. Its purpose was initially to be a "support" institute to promote studies aimed at improving the maritime economy and naval technology.

The University of Naples Parthenope is organized into five departments: economics, science and technology, law, engineering, and engineering. There are about 18 000 students enrolled, with a significant increase over the last 5 years.

The new Civic Center, the Centro Direzionale, is in preparation for an additional location. With the increased extension and completion of major facilities and their final accreditation as a full university, the current Parthenope University student population is approximately 15,000 units. The university is divided into 5 departments: Economics, Engineering, Law, Exercise and Sports Science, Sciences and Technology.
