Petrozavodsk State University has an urban campus and is located close to the Lake Onego in the city of Petrozavodsk, Russia. The university campus comprises of number of facilities for students including 84 labs, botanical gardens, and a publishing house. Petrozavodsk State University library comprises of over 1.1 million books and is one of the largest libraries in Russia. The university campus also comprises of 2 techno parks and 13 buildings scattered throughout the city which house administrative offices, faculties, and other facilities. A variety of disciplines are offered by 16 departments. Ten faculties, six educational institutions, 79 departments, 84 labs, development and project departments, 27 inventive departments, 28 small businesses, two techno parks, a publishing company, a scientific library, a botanical garden, and the "Onego" swimming pool are all part of the university.
