The Léonard-de-Vinci University Pole, an institution of higher education, was created in 1995 at the initiative of the General Council of the Hauts-de-Seine. The only French private higher education institution financed mainly by public funds, the cluster is now managed by the Association Léonard de Vinci (ALV).
The Pôle brings together the Léonard-de-Vinci Association and three schools: the Leonardo da Vinci School of Management (EMLV), the Leonardo da Vinci School of Engineering (ESILV) and the Institute of the Internet and Multimedia (IIM). These three schools award degrees recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research , the Commission of engineering qualifications and the National Commission for Professional Certification ). The university also offers executive education and specialized MBA programs through the Institute of Leonard de Vinci.
The Léonard-de-Vinci University Pole has partnered with more than 100 universities around the world in countries across Europe, Asia, America and Australia facilitating the students to acquire a global exposure.
