Pontifical Catholic University of Parana was established in the year 1960. It is a private university which is situated in Parana in Brazil. Its history can be traced from the year 1959. It was formed by the amalgamation of seven academic faculties. The university is operated on Christian beliefs.

Pontifical Catholic University of Parana is organised into seven schools and an American Academy. It offers bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degree programs in different areas of study. Students can also apply for research and innovation studies, language courses and student exchange programs.
