Throughout their studies, students must register for specific courses using the USOS system. For elective courses, students vote for their choices for the next academic year during the summer semester, and the course chosen by the majority becomes obligatory for the whole group. The application process is regulated by the Rector's announcement each academic year. For the ATOL dormitory specifically, a refundable deposit of 650 PLN is required upon arrival, and the manager's office is located on the ground floor open Monday through Friday from 07:00 to 15:00 .
Non-EU researchers and students must apply for a residence permit to legalize their stay if they plan to remain in Poland for longer than three months. It is recommended to apply as soon as receiving the confirmation letter about admission, as the process to obtain a residence card takes time .
Upon registering your stay, you become eligible to receive a personal identity number (PESEL), which enables access to healthcare, the ability to open a bank account, and obtaining insurance coverage .
