Academic Qualifications:
Applicants must present their high school transcript, including predicted final-year marks if applying conditionally. The minimum cumulative grade required depends on curriculum type:
UAE Curriculum: Elite – 75%, Advanced – 80%, Applied/General – 85%.
American / Canadian / SABIS: Minimum 80%, plus a SAT Math score of at least 450.
British Curriculum: At least 5 IGCSEs (grade C or better) and 2 A?Levels or 1 A-Level (grade D or better). Must include Math, Physics, and one of Chemistry/Biology at C grade minimum; average mark should be 80% or higher.
French: At least 12/20 overall, with similar course-specific minimums.
India / Pakistan: Overall minimum score of 65%, with Math, Physics, and one of Chemistry/Biology at least 61%.
International Baccalaureate (IB): At least 28 points overall, with relevant subjects at grade 4 or higher.
Program-Specific Requirements:
Engineering applicants: Must have strong proficiency in pre-calculus mathematics (minimum ~80%) and two science subjects (physics and chemistry or biology at ~80%). If requirements are not met, conditional admission via bridging courses may be offered, subject to approval. Students must also complete placement tests in math and physics prior to course registration.
Computing programs: Require math and one science (preferably physics or chemistry). Math placement test is mandatory; physics is optional. Grade thresholds vary by curriculum but generally start from 70–75% depending on the system.
Business programs: Require math at secondary level and passing a math placement test. Grade thresholds range from 70–75%.
Psychology programs: Require math placement test as well. Similar grade thresholds apply (min. 70–75%).
New Media Design: Math placement is optional and based on elective choice. Grade thresholds similar to business programs.
