Rollins College History

Rollins College is a private college that is based at Winter Park, Florida. The college is one of the oldest institutions as it was founded in the year 1885. It is a co-educational institution that was first initiated by Lucy Cross who is also the founder of the Daytona Institute for Young Women. The college has been established by the New England Congregationalists who were interested in bringing liberal arts education to Florida.
