1. Required Documents:
Completed online application form (via RCSI website or CAO)
Official high school transcripts and certificates (with grading scale)
Copy of valid passport
Personal Statement outlining motivation for studying medicine or health sciences
Academic reference letter (1–2)
Proof of English language proficiency
Predicted or achieved examination results (IB, A-levels, Indian Boards, etc.)
2. Entrance Test Requirements:
Medicine Applicants: Must sit the HPAT-Ireland (Health Professions Admission Test) for EU students or UCAT/MCAT for international students.
Some international applicants may be required to attend an interview or MMI (Multiple Mini Interview).
Pharmacy and Physiotherapy programs generally do not require HPAT, but admission is highly competitive based on academic merit.
3. Language Test Requirements:
IELTS Academic: Minimum 6.5 overall (no component below 6.0)
TOEFL iBT: Minimum 90 overall (with at least 21 in writing)
PTE Academic: Minimum 63 overall
Duolingo English Test: Minimum 110
English test requirement may be waived if previous education was completed in an English-speaking country.
