Step-by-Step Guide to Admission Requirements at Rutgers Business School

1. Basic Eligibility

High School Diploma: Equivalent to U.S. 12th grade with strong math coursework (Calculus preferred)

Minimum GPA: 3.0/4.0 (3.5+ typical for competitive applicants)

Transcripts: Official records with English translations (NACES evaluation required for non-U.S. systems)

2. English Proficiency (One of These)

TOEFL iBT: 79 (100+ preferred)

IELTS: 6.5 (7.0+ preferred)

Duolingo: 105 (120+ preferred)

SAT ERW: 550+

ACT English: 21+

4+ Years in English-medium high school (may qualify for waiver)

No conditional admission – must meet all requirements

3. Standardized Tests (Test-Flexible)

SAT/ACT optional but recommended:

Middle 50% SAT: 1270-1450

Middle 50% ACT: 28-33

Strong math performance required (Calculus readiness)
