1. Academic Credentials:

Secondary Education: Completion of secondary education equivalent to a U.S. high school diploma.

Transcripts: Submission of official transcripts from all secondary schools attended, with certified English translations if originals are not in English. These transcripts should detail courses taken and grades received.

2. English Language Proficiency:

Requirement: All applicants whose secondary education was completed in a non-English speaking country must demonstrate English proficiency.

Accepted Tests and Minimum Scores:

TOEFL: Internet-based score of 79 or higher.

IELTS: Overall band score of 6.5 or higher.

Duolingo English Test: Minimum score of 115.

Waivers: May be considered for students who have attended an English-medium school; evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

3. Standardized Test Scores:

SAT or ACT: Submission is optional for international applicants. If provided, these scores will be considered during the admissions process.

4. Application Process:

Application Form: Complete and submit the undergraduate application through the Rutgers Application Portal or the Common Application.

Application Fee: A non-refundable fee of $70 is required.

Self-Reported Academic Record (SRAR): Current high school seniors must self-report their courses, grades, GPA, and class rank.
