Educational Qualification:

A school-leaving certificate equivalent to the German Abitur (such as A-Levels, IB, or 12 years of schooling + 1 year university in some countries).

If not directly equivalent, applicants must complete a Studienkolleg (foundation year) and pass the Feststellungsprüfung exam.

Language Proficiency:

German-taught programs: Proof of German proficiency (e.g., TestDaF level 4 in all sections, DSH-2, Goethe-Zertifikat C2, or telc C1 Hochschule).

English-taught programs (few available at bachelor level): Proof of English (e.g., IELTS, TOEFL, depending on program).

Entrance Qualification Recognition:

Applicants must verify if their certificate is recognized in Germany via uni-assist or DAAD’s anabin database.

Application Process:

Apply via RWTH’s application portal or uni-assist (depending on the applicant's country and program).

Submit educational certificates, translated if not in German or English.
