Saint Johns University is an American private catholic institution located in the borough of Queens in New York City. The university was established by the Congregation of the Mission in 1870 and has ever since grown to enrol over 21000 undergraduate and graduate students.

Saint Johns University has an urban campus located in the Queens borough of New York City which is spread over an area of 105 acres. The university was initially based in Brooklyn but was moved to its present location in the early 1950s.
