Academic Qualifications

Secondary School Diploma: Must be equivalent to Bolivia’s Bachillerato (12 years of education).

Validation: Requires legalization (apostille/consular certification) and homologation by the Bolivian Ministry of Education.

Country-Specific Rules: Some countries (e.g., Spain, Argentina) have simplified validation under bilateral agreements.

2. Language Proficiency

Spanish B2 Certification: Required (DELE, SIELE, or UCSPB’s placement test).

Exemption: Native Spanish speakers or students from Spanish-speaking countries.

3. Visa & Documentation

Student Visa (Type III): Apply at a Bolivian consulate with:

Legalized birth certificate + apostille.

Police clearance certificate (from home country and Bolivia).

Passport copy (valid for 6+ months).

Proof of financial solvency (~USD 300/month).

Health Insurance: Mandatory for visa approval.
