Santa Maria Health School’s undergraduate application requirements for international students generally include a recognised secondary school qualification that provides access to higher education in the applicant’s home country, together with the academic preparation required for the chosen programme.
2. Applicants may need to demonstrate equivalent knowledge in the relevant entrance examination subjects, and those whose first language is not Portuguese may be required to demonstrate Portuguese language proficiency.
3. For Nursing, Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy, applicants must also meet the Group A Interpersonal Communication pre requisite.
4. Applications require academic qualification documents and other supporting documentation requested by the School, and candidates are ranked according to their academic results, normally converted to Portugal’s 0 20 grading scale where necessary.
