Vera Eory is a British-Hungarian researcher on climate change at Scotland's Rural College (United Kingdom). With an emphasis on farm and policy elements of greenhouse gas reduction, she carries out multidisciplinary research to enhance the sustainability of agricultural production.
Vera Eory has more than a decade of expertise with the economic and environmental effects of greenhouse gas reduction strategies in agriculture, including the development of policy tools, the cost-effectiveness of mitigation strategies, environmental co-effects, and farmers' perspectives. She has served on a number of advisory committees, including the EIP-AGRI Focus Group on Nutrient Recycling and the UK Government's Nutrient Management Expert Group. View Less
