Seattle Pacific University History
Seattle Pacific University is a private university located in Seattle, Washington. It was established in the year 1891 by Oregon Washington Conference of the Free Methodist Church as the Seattle Seminary. It later became Seattle Seminary and College in 1913, as a name Seattle Pacific University in 1915.

It also offers dual degree programs. The University is divided into 1 College and 5 Schools. The University has more than 1000 academic staff including 3,467 undergraduate students and 957 postgraduate students.
Seattle Pacific University Campuses
Seattle Pacific University, the main campus is located in the northern end of Queen Anne Hill, near north of downtown Seattle. The University also has two satellite campuses i.e a wilderness field station specializing in biology on Blakely Island in the San Juan Islands and Camp Casey. The notable buildings on the Seattle Pacific campus include Alexandar Hall, Demaray Hall, Gwinn Commons, Ames Library, Peterson Hall, Student Union Building, Philip W. and Sharon K. Eaton Hall, McKenna Hall and Residences.
Seattle Pacific University Achievements
Seattle Pacific University, Allie Griffith Roth wins Medallion Award for her work supporting foster families. Dr. Elena Brezynski, Assistant Professor of Biology, received the Excellence in Teaching award in recognition of her abilities as a master teacher. Dr. Richard Ridgway, Associate Professor of Biology, received the Senior Faculty Servant award for his 30 years of service to the university and Biology department.

Seattle Pacific University ranked 192 by National Universities for Best Colleges. The University ranked #176 in Top Performers on Social Mobility and #68 in Engineering Programs. The University ranked 406th in US World University Rankings in the year 2019.
