Shandong Normal University History

Shandong Normal University was established in the year 1950. It is a public university which is situated in Jinan City in China. Its roots were kept in 1902 but it was founded in 1950 as Shandong Normal College. Later it developed a new campus where new batch was admitted in 2005.

Shandong Normal University Programs, Courses and Schools

Shandong Normal University has got 25 academic schools which offers education in numerous disciplines of study. It offers undergraduate, master’s and doctoral degrees. Students can also go for other programs like, research, continuing education, language trainings and study abroad programs.

Faculties of the university have impressive credentials and are expert in guiding students. The university has affiliated high schools and elementary school. It also offers students with short term programs and non-diploma education.

Shandong Normal University Campuses

Shandong Normal University has got two campuses which covers an area of 600 acres. It has a digital campus with the facilities like campus security, transportation, cafeteria, gardens, athletic courts, field, gym, healthcare centre, student service centre and recreational areas. There are student clubs and organisations. Student media includes newsletter, periodicals, journals and TV channel. Cultural and sports events are organised in the campus throughout the year.

University library is a huge and multi-media infrastructure. It is stocked with journals, publications, books, documents, course reserves and research guides. Databases, tutorials, audio-visuals, study rooms and internet is accessible. Conferences and seminars are organised here.

Shandong Normal University has renowned faculties who have won many awards and titles. The centre for the World University Rankings has ranked the university as 1119 globally and 124 nationally. The Shanghai Rankings has ranked it among the top 30 universities of China. It is also recognised for its research works and publications.
