Shanghai University of Finance and Economics History

Shanghai University of Finance and Economics was established in the year 1917. It is a research university situated in Shanghai in China. It has gone through a series of name change from Shanghai University of Commerce to School of Commerce of the Central University to National Shanghai College of Commerce to its present name. It became the first university in China to adopt Academic tenure.

Shanghai University of Finance and Economics is a renowned finance and economics university of China. It owns 12 schools offering undergraduate, postgraduate, continuing education, research and innovation programs, vocational studies and international programs. There are research centres for finance and economics.
