The campus features three F&B outlets, including the training restaurant Salt & Pepper, the Club lounge, Caffè Milano coffee bar, and the Boost Zone. The Hotel SHL is located right next to the SHL Lakeview Campus, where around 80 students stay during the semester, offering a true hotel experience with different room categories. The building functions include, in addition to school rooms, a model operation with bar, restaurant, kitchen and student or guest rooms. The building structure allows a high flexibility of the floor plans.

The Student Services of SHL comprise all the information and services that make studying outside the classroom easier and more varied for registered students. The opportunity to exchange ideas across semesters, the event calendar, exciting jobs, great special offers, informative explanatory videos, links to requests for absence or table reservations – all this and much more is available to students after logging into the Intranet. The academic advisors help students plan their career and provide all the information needed to make decisions – by telephone, by video call or directly on campus.

The SHL Campus in the heart of Lucerne includes the Hotel SHL, the student accommodation. Hotel SHL is located right next to the SHL Lakeview Campus, where around 80 students stay during the semester. Hotel SHL reflects a true hotel experience, with various en-suite room categories for students to choose from. In addition to the modern, spacious rooms, Hotel SHL offers a common room with a fully equipped kitchen and a large roof terrace for relaxing and enjoying warm evenings with friends. Student Safety

SHL implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect databases against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or falsification. Trained staff are available on SHL Campus as occupational first aiders as well as Mental Health First Aid practitioners certified through ensa. The Hotel SHL has a house rules agreement (Hausordnung) that contains rights and obligations for all residents of Hotel SHL. The city of Lucerne provides a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for students.

The dedicated internship and career team supports students with access to a wide and diverse range of internships and future career opportunities. The SHL Job Portal publishes interesting internship positions and exciting job opportunities exclusively for SHL students and alumni. There are 3 annual career days with 200 companies on campus annually. Students complete two 6-month paid internships in Switzerland or abroad with a minimum salary in Switzerland of CHF 2,359 per month.
