Master’s admission requirements for Sohag University:

Bachelor’s Degree
You must hold a relevant bachelor’s degree from a recognized university—typically with a minimum GPA of around 70% or equivalent 

Academic Transcripts & Degree Certificate
Submit certified copies of your undergraduate transcripts and degree certificate (translated into Arabic or English if issued in another language) 

Language Proficiency Proof
If the program is taught in English, you may need to provide TOEFL/IELTS scores. For Arabic-instructed programs, proof of Arabic skills may be required .

Recommendation Letters
Typically two to three academic recommendation letters from former professors or academic advisors are needed 

Research Proposal or Statement of Purpose
Particularly for research-based master’s and all PhD programs, you must submit a clear research proposal or statement of purpose 

Medical Certificate & Passport Copy (for international students)
International applicants must provide a medical fitness certificate, passport copy, photos, and possibly an embassy’s cultural attestation
