After South Birmingham College and City College Birmingham merged to establish South & City College Birmingham, South Birmingham College formally changed its name to South & City College Birmingham on Wednesday, August 1, 2012. Bournville College and South & City College Birmingham combined once more on Wednesday, August 2, 2017. The college admits students 14 years of age and up and has eight campuses. Some of the college's sites, including the Balsall Heath Women's Centre, Ladywood Campus, Longbridge Construction & Building Services Centre, Bordersley Green Campus, Digbeth Campus, Golden Hillock Women's Centre, Hall Green Campus, Handsworth Campus. Their campuses in Digbeth, Longbridge (Bournville College), Hall Green, and Bordesley Green all have Costa Coffee bars. Their canteens are open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 to 16:00 and on Fridays from 8:00 to 15:00. They provide a large range of hot and cold dishes, as well as vegetarian, vegan, and halal options, to accommodate patrons with various dietary requirements.
