Southeast University History

Southeast university was established in the year of 1902, it is one of the oldest universities and the first coeducational university in China. It is a Chinese Ministry of Education Class A Double First Class University

Southeast University Programs, Courses, and Schools

Southeast University is one of the only 32 universities which is directly administered by the Chinese Department of Education and also considered the top class universities in China. In over 30 schools and departments, the university has 16,000 undergraduate students and 10,000 graduate students. The university offers 64 undergraduate programs, 206 master programs, 109 doctoral programs, as well as 15 postdoctoral research sites.

Southeast University Campuses

Southeast University has 3 main campuses namely Sipailou Campus, Jiulonghu campus and Dingjiaqiao campus. In 2001, the university acquired three other colleges in Nanjing. They are Nanjing College of Advanced Transportation, Nanjing Railway Medical College, as well as Nanjing Advanced School of Geology. Nanjing Railway Medical College became the School of Medicine at Southeast University after it merged with the University.

It has also ranked top 3 nationally in 8 fields of landscape architecture, art history, architecture, urban planning, civil engineering, electronic engineering, transportation engineering, and transportation engineering.
