General infrastructure includes the 30,000-square-foot state-of-the-art Agriculture Building, the Auburn Smith Field House, the Brinson Fine Arts Building, and the Watson-Brown Center with gymnasiums and an indoor pool, plus ongoing renovations funded by major grants


Student support includes counseling and testing, disability support services, multicultural services, Upward Bound, the ADAPT program, international student support, and the Student Affairs Committee which helps govern non-academic policies.
Student life features over 60 organizations, including departmental clubs, honor societies, religious groups, social Greek organizations, and the Student Activities Board which plans movies, dances, concerts, and comedians.



Housing includes men's, women's, and co-ed residence halls and three apartment complexes, with all full-time undergraduates required to live on-campus until completing 60 credit hours or turning 21, plus a non-refundable $100 Housing Reservation Fee

The University Police Department (870-235-4100) provides 24-hour patrols, a Safe Passage Program for students off campus, CARES Program training, student internships, bike registration, and crime prevention presentations.
