completing the university application :
Freshman / First-Year Applicants
Submit an online application (via Common App, ApplyTexas, or the St. Edward’s application)
Application fee: typically US$ 50, but may be waived if applying by certain early dates (for example, by January 1)
High school transcripts showing completed coursework and grades
Essay / personal statement as part of the application
Recommendation(s) – academic reference(s) or counselor / teacher recommendations
Standardized test scores (SAT / ACT) are optional under the university’s test-optional policy for applications from Fall 2021 onward
English proficiency test (TOEFL, IELTS, Duolingo, etc.) required for international students whose prior education was not in English.
Transfer Applicants
Official transcripts from all previously attended colleges/universities
If transferring with less than 30 credit hours, also submit high school transcript
Minimum GPA requirement: Transfer students are considered with cumulative GPA of at least 2.50 and with at least one recent semester with no grades below “C”
Essay / personal statement (often required)
