In 1914, Cadman became the first structure of the University to open in Stoke. The Mellor building was erected in 1957 with the opening of the new College of Ceramics. Staffordshire College of Technology was founded in 1959 and began offering engineering and computer courses at its Beaconside campus in Stafford in the early 1960s. Later, this clause was moved to Stoke, enabling our Stafford site to develop into a center for digital innovation and clinical excellence. The University’s location in London on the site of the former Olympic Park feels pretty natural. In 2019, our award-winning tech and digital expertise was concentrated at their London campus in Here East, where we teach computer science, games, and cyber security.
