State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry history started more than 100 years back. It is the daughter organization of the State University of New York or formally known as Syracuse University. It was founded in the year 1911 by the order of New York’s Governors’ signed bill. The University got its current name and recognition as a specialized college in 1948.
