The Health Sciences Education Building, located at 395 Lenox Road, houses the majority of the preclinical learning activities. Clinical rotations are held at the University Hospital of Brooklyn (UHB), the main teaching hospital at SUNY Downstate, the Kings County Hospital Center, which is located directly across the street from UHB, the Brooklyn Veteran's Administration Hospital, and the Staten Island University Hospital, among other locations.

The second floor is a designated silent study area as well as a group study area.
