Essential documents you'll need to apply for a Bachelor’s program at Suez Canal University:
Original Secondary School Certificate (Thanaweya Amma)
Must be the original certificate confirming you’ve met secondary school graduation requirements.
Original Birth Certificate
A government-issued birth certificate to verify your date of birth and personal identity.
Passport-sized Photographs (10 recent photos)
Typically 4×6?cm images, following the university’s guidelines, for admission records.
National ID or Passport Copy
For Egyptian students, a copy of the national ID; for international applicants, a valid passport.
Military Documents (for Egyptian male applicants)
Military ID (Namouzag 6 Gond) if over age 19
Military service status form (Namouzag 2 Gond)
Medical Report
A health certificate stamped by the Ministry of Higher Education’s Medical Sector confirming your fitness for study.

Through the national Egypt Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation, SCU hosted the first “EEIC on Wheels” in Ismailia. A three-day ideation boot-camp run with the SCU Entrepreneurship Club to nurture early-stage startup ideas and entrepreneurial thinking

In 2019, SCU showcased an electric car prototype at the Global Forum for Higher Education & Scientific Research. Developed by engineering students and faculty, this initiative focused on integrating sustainable energy and vehicle design, demonstrating the university's early commitment to eco-friendly transportation solutions
At the same 2019 forum, another milestone was the unveiling of a student-built race car. This project offered hands-on experience in mechanics, aerodynamics, and team collaboration—essential for students entering automotive and engineering sectors .
Also in 2019, a remote-controlled electric submarine was featured at the global forum. Designed for underwater exploration, this device provided practical training in robotics, electronics, and maritime engineering—reflecting SCU's strong applied research orientation .
