Effective June 1, 2024, Suffolk University has stopped operating its campus in Madrid and this program is no longer accepting enrollment.

For incoming freshmen and transfer students, confirmation of enrollment required submitting a deposit of $800. The application deadline for fall was February 15 and for spring was December 1. Students were encouraged to pay their deposit early, as the sooner it was received, the higher the priority in class registration and housing preferences.

Suffolk University Madrid Campus was located in the university district of Madrid, adjacent to the intersection of Avenida del Valle and Isaac Peral streets. The campus was easily accessible by subway line 6 (gray line) at the Vicente Aleixandre stop, or lines 6 and 7 (gray and orange lines) at the Guzman El Bueno stop. The campus address was Calle de la Viña 3, 28003 Madrid, Spain.

Students had a choice of two housing options: a homestay with a local family or a student residence hall. Homestays were recommended for cultural immersion and language practice, with families providing half board (14 meals per week), laundry services, and a double or single room

Students with citizenship from outside the European Union were generally required to obtain a student visa from the Spanish Consulate nearest their home prior to coming to Spain.

Once you arrived in Madrid with your student visa, the visa was initially valid for 90 days. If you planned on staying in Spain for over six months, you needed to apply for a Foreigner's Identity Card (TIE in Spanish), also called a Student Card. Suffolk partnered with Drum Cussac, AXA, and Cultural Insurance Services International to provide immediate support for students, with Drum Cussac serving as the contact for medical and security services
