Swansea University History:
Swansea University is a Public research-led university which was established in the year 1920 and is located in Wales, United Kingdom. There were just two permanent buildings on campus in 1947: The library and Singleton Abbey. In 2012 the campus went through aspiring expansion and development and also opened doors of the Bay campus in 2015. 

Swansea University Programs, Courses, and Schools:
Swansea University consists of seven colleges and schools; College of Arts and Humanities, School of Management, Hillary Rodham Clinton School of Law, College of Engineering,  School of Sport and Exercise Sciences, College of Human and Health Science, Medical School, and College of Science. All these colleges offer many different programs and courses, some of them are; Ancient History, Applied Linguistics, Business Management, Economics, Law and Criminology, Aerospace, Chemical, Civil, Computational, Sports, Technology, Exercise, social care, health economics, Geography, Biosciences, Physics, Chemistry, and many more. Swansea University's best departments are Medicine and Engineering, ranked 2nd and 15th respectively 2014 Research Excellence Framework.

Swansea University continues to maintain its position as one of the top universities in the UK for Engineering. With their world-class research centres and a prolonged investment programme to provide excellent support and facilities. The university also has one of the top three medical schools located in South West Wales. 

Swansea University Campuses:
Swansea University comprises two campuses; Bay campus and the Singleton Park Campus. Swansea University operated most of its history exclusively in the Singleton Park Campus, later on, due to the rapid expansion and high student population, the Bay Campus was developed. The pay Campus consists of the following faculties; School of Sport and Exercise Sciences, College of Engineering, College of Science, and the School of Management. The university also comprises 4 libraries located in different areas of the city; Singleton Park Library, Bay Library, South Wales Miners' Library, St. David's Park, and the Banwen Library. All the libraries provide the students with a very comfortable ambiance along with high-quality information services. The libraries offer a spacious environment with the latest facilities and technology for learning and research.  

Swansea University has many Research centres and institutes, some of them are; Centre for Nano health, Research Institute for Arts and Humanities, Institute of Life Sciences, Research Institute for Applied Social Sciences. The University is recognized as the 26th research-intensive university in the UK, according to the Research Excellence Framework 2014. 

Swansea University Achievements:
Swansea University’s proficiency and expertise have been recognized by awards and prizes during recent years while some of them are; Welsh University of the Year 2019 - Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2019, Guardian University Awards 2018 – Social and Community Impact, CUBO Awards – Best Marketing Campaign 2018, and many more throughout many years.

Swansea University USP:
Swansea University provides scholarship opportunities to the students on the basis of academic excellence as well as, bursaries and grants. The university provides the students with numerous sports activities like indoor track and training centre, floodlit playing fields including rugby, football, lacrosse and cricket pitches, two artificial hockey pitches, a sports hall, tennis and squash courts, a climbing wall, spin room, and many more. There are numerous notable alumni linked with Swansea University, some of them are; Julian Hopkin CBE who is the founder of a Medical School and was awarded CBE in 2011 for his services towards medicine, Geoffrey Thomas has been the President of the Kellogg College, Oxford, Stanislaus A. James was the Governor-General of Saint Lucia from 1988 to 1996.
