With guaranteed on-campus accommodation for international students, VSB‑TUO provides over 3,000 beds in five dormitory buildings (A–E) located within the campus in Ostrava–Poruba, easily reached by tram or bus . Rooms are available in double or triple occupancy formats, with shared kitchens per floor and full internet access; Building A underwent a major renovation in 2020, bringing modern furnishings, enhanced sanitary facilities, barrier-free apartments, and a hotel-style “Garni” floor. Dorm pricing ranges approximately CZK 3,600–4,700/month (≈ €140–185), covering utilities and campus services including cafeterias, gyms, and communal spaces.
