Teesside University is a public university which was firstly established in 1930 as Constantine Technical College and later on in 1992 gained the university status. The campus is located in heart of Northern England at Middlesbrough on the south banks of the River Tees. The university is located in town which has multicultural environment which has all the facilities like various types of shops, restaurants, cinemas and clubs too. 

Teesside University comprises of five schools and offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs under: The School of Computing, Media & the arts, The School of Health & Social Care, The School of Science, Engineering & Design, The School of Social Sciences, Humanities & Law, The Teesside University Business School. 

Teesside University has more than 10,427 full time students including 9,372 undergraduate students and 1055 postgraduate students. The student to faculty ratio is 10:1. 

Teesside University has been awarded for the work in field of business engagement and field of enterprise with the Queen's Anniversary Prize for Excellence. The graduate who have passed out from the university got placed in companies like Microsoft, Vodafone, HSBC, Rolls-Royce, BBC and Raleigh UK. The university offers upto £1,500 to international students as scholarship.
