1. Academic Eligibility
High School Diploma: Must be equivalent to Brazilian Ensino Médio and revalidated by a Brazilian public university (process varies by country).
Entrance Exam: Pass either:
ENEM (Brazil’s National High School Exam) – Minimum score set annually per program.
UFMT’s Vestibular – University-specific entrance exam (in Portuguese).
2. Language Proficiency
CELPE-Bras (Intermediate or Advanced) – Official Portuguese proficiency exam.
Exemption: Applicants from Portuguese-speaking countries (e.g., Angola, Portugal).
3. Documentation
Notarized/Translated Transcripts (Portuguese or Spanish).
Valid Passport & Student Visa (VITEM-IV) – Must obtain before enrollment.
CPF (Brazilian Tax ID) – Required for registration.

Limited Quotas: Few spots for non-treaty international students; priority for PEC-G program candidates (developing-country partnerships).
Competitive Programs: Medicine, Law, and Veterinary Science often require ENEM scores ≥ 750+.
