Established in 1987, The Hague University of Applied Sciences is a university of applied sciences and community higher professional education with its campuses in Laakhaven, Delft, Laan van Poot and Zoetermeer, in the west of The Netherlands. Research activity is high with a range of postgraduate and continuing professional education courses.
The University is organized into 7 faculties: Faculty of Business, Finance & Marketing; Faculty of Public Management, Law & Safety; Faculty of Health, Nutrition & Sport; Faculty of IT & Design; Faculty of Management & Organization; Faculty of Social Work & Education; and Faculty of Technology, Innovation & Society.
The total student population at the university is more than 26000 students and the student to faculty ratio is 18:1.
The Hague University of Applied Sciences has a city centre campus with state-of-the-art buildings. Facilities include specially designed work and study areas, a sports centre, cafes, restaurants and a campus shop. Student life in The Hague is exciting, with culture and entertainment organised through the city’s ACKU student organisation.
The Hague University of Applied Sciences has partnered with Study Group’s Holland International Study Center to provide International Foundation Year. The student can progress to a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Management or Science and Engineering at Hague University of Applied Sciences after successfully completing the foundation year program.

1. World Citizen Talent Scholarship for International Students
Each year, 3 one-time scholarships each worth EUR 5,000 are up for grabs to prospective master’s degree students. The University is looking for young, intelligent, talented and ambitious people who view themselves as citizens of the world.
Eligibility Criteria/ Scholarship Guidelines
You are eligible for a World Citizen Talent Scholarship if you meet the following requirements:
• You come from outside The Netherlands and don’t live in the Netherlands.
• You are enrolling at The Hague University of Applied Sciences for the first time
•You have never applied for this scholarship before.
• You have been conditionally accepted as a student (also-called offer of student position) on or before 1 May for the upcoming academic year.
