Infrastructure & Facilities at The Juilliard School

The Juilliard School has a campus at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. The Juilliard School is housed in the Lincoln Center for Performing Arts' Irene Diamond Building, which runs along Broadway and W 65th Street. The Glorya Kaufman Dance Studio, Stephanie P. McClelland Drama Theater, Harold and Mimi Steinberg Drama Studio, Judith Harris and Tony Woolfson Orchestral Studio, and Edwin and Nancy Marks Jazz Rehearsal Room are all located in the Juilliard building. The Peter Jay Sharp Theater, Paul Recital Hall, and Morse Recital Hall are all recital halls. The Alice Tully Hall, which houses the Chamber Music Society of the Lincoln Center, is also housed in the building. The Samuel B. & David Rose Building, adjacent to the Juilliard building, houses the school's Meredith Willson Residence Hall, named after composer, conductor, and Juilliard alumnus Meredith Willson. The hall houses student dorms, faculty suites, and visiting artist studios.

The Juilliard School Career support

Through the Federal Work-Study (FWS) and Juilliard Work-Study (JWS) programs, the Juilliard School provides numerous on-campus employment opportunities. Students who are citizens or permanent residents of the United States may be eligible for the federally funded FWS program. Students who do not qualify for FWS may qualify for JWS. Most international students can work under the JWS program, but they should first check with the Office of International Advisement (OIA). Students in both programs work at the School and are paid hourly. Pay rates typically range from $15.00 to $20.00 per hour and vary depending on the level of responsibility, specialized skills required, and other factors. Annual earnings usually range from $1,000 to $3,500.
