The University campus is well-built and committed to providing a safe and healthy campus environment that supports and sustains the singularity of the Scranton experience. The academic building houses the Psychology Department and the Division of Planning and Information Resources. There is a Brennan Hall which contains classrooms, seminar rooms, faculty offices, an advising center, the Pearn Auditorium, and the Irwin E. Alperin Financial Center, which is designed to simulate a stock market trading floor, complete with an electronic ticker and data displays. The other crucial places at the campus are Ciszek Hall, Hyland Hall, Loyola Science Center, McGurrin Hall, St, Thomas Hall, Weinberg Memorial Library, and Smurfit Art Center. Scranton is the perfect place for a college. The many recreational and leisure opportunities in downtown Scranton and the surrounding area are available to students. Students can also take advantage of worthwhile internship possibilities with many of the top businesses and organizations in the globe, as large metropolitan hubs are only two hours away.
