The below information is required while
completing the university application :
General Requirements:
Age: Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
Citizenship: Must be a non-Chinese citizen.
Education: Applicants must have completed high school or its equivalent.
Health: Applicants must be in good health.
Language Proficiency:
HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test):
HSK Level 4 is generally required for Science and Engineering programs, with a minimum score of 180.
HSK Level 5 may be required for programs like Architecture, Management & Economics, and Medicine, with a minimum score of 200.
BA in Chinese Language or other specialized programs may have specific HSK level requirements.
Other Language Proficiency:
For programs taught in English, applicants may need to demonstrate English proficiency through standardized tests like TOEFL or IELTS.
Application Materials:
Application Form: Complete and submit the official application form provided by the university.
Passport: Submit a copy of the personal information page of your passport.
High School Diploma/Certificate: Provide a copy of your high school diploma or certificate of expected graduation. If not in Chinese or English, submit a notarized translation.
Transcripts: Submit original or notarized transcripts from your high school, detailing all courses taken. If not in Chinese or English, include a notarized translation.
HSK Certificate: Provide a copy of your HSK certificate, showing the required level and score.
Other Materials: Depending on the program and your specific situation, additional documents may be required, including:
Certificate of Payment for the registration fee.
Personal Statement written in the language of instruction for your program.
Physical Examination Form for Foreigners (completed within the last six months) or a valid Chinese visa.
