    Notable Innovation, Research & Development Turku University of Applied Sciences

    Turku UAS collaborated with Novia University of Applied Sciences to build a test and RDI platform for autonomous, remotely operated and automated systems, especially for maritime logistics and smart environments. This project ran from 1 Oct 2020 to 31 Dec 2023, funded by the Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture. It delivered digital services, simulation environments and data platforms supporting autonomous system testing. Turku UAS developed its innovation pedagogy approach Innopeda beginning in 2006 to integrate teaching, learning and innovation in curricula.
