Yes, students from other higher education institutions can request the evaluation of credits earned at their previous schools for transfer into one of our programs. There is no time limit within which credits need to have been earned, and we accept credits earned at other institutions provided they are appropriate to the student’s degree program at UIBS.

Because of our multiple starting dates and the rolling admission process, there are no deadlines to apply. However, we advise all students to submit their application about 1 month before the intended starting date to allow sufficient time to plan their stay abroad.

The required documents include a Curriculum Vitae stating your full academic background and professional experience, a copy of your valid passport or identity card, copies of all relevant degrees, diplomas, certificates and transcripts (with official English translation when not issued in Dutch, French, German, Italian or Spanish), a letter of motivation stating your career objectives and program expectations, a passport-size photograph, proof of English proficiency, and payment of the non-refundable Application Fee.

Our campus in Zurich is our main campus, located at Brandschenkestrasse 38, 8001 Zurich, Switzerland.

Our Program Fees cover the cost of matriculation and tuition but do not include the cost of living, housing, travel, transport, health insurance, study materials and other expenses.

Students without a national (EU, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland) passport or residence permit who wish to study in Zurich are required to apply for a student visa and can be enrolled for a full-time study program only.

We advise you to start the student visa application procedure immediately after you have been accepted into the program, as it may take up to 3 months to receive your student visa. Students are required to register with the local authorities upon their arrival to obtain a valid student residence permit.
