The demanding daily schedule begins at 5:15 AM and stretches until 11 PM, including time for classes, physical training, and meals. Military training is a core aspect, with cadets participating in daily drills and additional training sessions on Saturdays. In addition to academics focused on military strategy and professionalism, cadets engage in three hours of athletics each day. Housing is provided at no cost, and the dining facilities are highly regarded, offering a well-rounded environment for developing future leaders in the Air Force and Space Force.

Housing facilities (Accommodation)

The United States Air Force Academy offers a variety of housing options for students, including dormitories such as Sijan Hall and Vandenberg Hall. The permanent party UH campus provides single-occupancy rooms with amenities like dayrooms, a full kitchen, commercial washers, game systems, a volleyball court, and bike lockers. Sijan Hall houses 1,964 cadets and features a barber shop, beauty shop, day spa, and laundry facilities. Vandenberg Hall, the second-largest university dormitory in the U.S., offers 1,320 rooms along with a convenience store, post office, barbershops, counseling offices, and recreational clubs.

The whole campus is under the surveillance of the security guards, who always ensure the highest safety specifications are maintained and integrated into repairs, upgrades, and new construction of Academy facilities. They are present 24/7 on campus to protect and safeguard the campus.
