The new university campus was opened in Trigoria at the start of 2008 on property that Alberto Sordi had donated and sold on the outskirts of Decima-Malafede Regional Park. On this land, university structures are progressively being constructed. The three departmental faculties of the university are Science and Technology for Man and the Environment, Engineering, and Medicine and Surgery.
