Everything You Need to Know About Application Requirements at University of Applied Sciences Europe

1. Academic Qualification

Must hold a high school diploma or equivalent (e.g. IB, A?levels, vocational diploma) recognized for German university entrance .

In exceptional cases, applicants with relevant vocational qualifications and ≥2 years of work experience may be considered. 

2. Language Proficiency

For English?taught programmes, minimum IELTS 5.5 (or TOEFL iBT?60, Duolingo 100, Pearson PTE 56, Cambridge First/Advanced score B2) is required  .

3. Additional Assessment

International (non?EU) applicants may need to complete a short written essay as an admission test depending on national education background  .

4. Supporting Documents

Applicants must submit:

Completed application form

Scanned passport copy

CV (dated and signed)

Motivation letter (min. 500 words)

Portfolio (for Art & Design/programmes that require it)

High school transcript/diploma .

5. Fees and Timeline

Application fee around €50

Rolling intake deadlines: often July?15 for winter semester, and January?15–Feb?28 for summer semester.
