RWU offers extensive and free advisory services for students of all disciplines and semesters. These services cover topics related to studies, personal challenges, and psychological advice. Housing facilities (Accommodation)

The Student Services Weiße Rose e.V. operates two student dormitories directly on the RWU campus. The "old Briach dormitory" at Briachstr. 10 offers single rooms in a shared-living arrangement, with up to 24 single rooms per floor, sharing a kitchen and common space. The monthly rent is €250. The "new Briach dormitory" at Briachstr. 2, opened in 2015, features apartment-style living where four students share an apartment, each having their own single room, and sharing a kitchen and bathroom. The monthly rent for this newer dorm is €315. Internet, TV, and WLAN access are provided in the rent.

Student safety is addressed through several measures at RWU. The "First Responder Weingarten" student group plays a key role by being alerted as on-site helpers for time-critical emergencies in Weingarten's upper town. These trained paramedics provide immediate medical care at the scene until professional emergency services arrive, covering both RWU and the neighboring PH Weingarten. Additionally, the Psychological Counseling Center offers support for mental health and well-being, contributing to a safe and supportive campus environment. The university also has established protocols for handling various challenges students may face.
