The University of Béjaïa, officially known as Université Abderrahmane Mira de Béjaïa, is a public, multidisciplinary institution established in 1983 in Béjaïa, Algeria. Named after Abderrahmane Mira, a hero of Algeria’s war of independence, the university has grown from an initial cohort of 205 students to over 45,700 students, supported by 1,714.
