Housing facilities (Accommodation)

The University of Borås does not have its own campus with student housing, meaning all students are responsible for finding their own accommodation. To assist with this, the university provides several resources and cooperates with the local housing agency in Borås, Bostäder i Borås, which offers student apartments in five areas: Alideberg, Centrum, Hässleholmen, Norrby, and Simonsland. The International Office can provide guidance to admitted exchange students on how to find a place to stay. A limited amount of furnished accommodation is exclusively available for exchange students staying for a maximum of two semesters at Simonsland, but no furniture is lent to other unfurnished accommodations.
