The minimum prerequisite for admission to the University of Bristol's master's degree program is normally an undergraduate degree from an accredited university that is equal to a UK upper second-class degree (sometimes called a 2:1).

A UK upper second-class degree is seen as being equivalent to a CGPA of 3.3 or higher.
Candidates with a one-year master's degree from the UK or a two-year master's degree from the US will be given consideration for admission to the PhD program. It is necessary to submit a research proposal.
