Everything You Need to Know About Application Requirements at University of Buenos Aires

Bachelor’s Degree: Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized institution. The degree must be translated into Spanish and legalized by the Argentine consulate in the applicant’s home country. 

Validation of Foreign Studies: International students need to undergo the revalidation (homologación) process of their bachelor’s degree with the Argentine Ministry of Education to certify equivalence with Argentine undergraduate degrees. 

Language Proficiency:

Spanish: Most master’s programs are conducted in Spanish; thus, proficiency is required. Accepted certifications include DELE and SIELE. 

English: For programs taught in English, proficiency must be demonstrated through tests like TOEFL or IELTS.

 

Application Submission: Applicants must submit their application directly to the relevant faculty, including:

Translated and legalized bachelor’s degree

Academic transcripts

Curriculum Vitae (CV)

Letters of recommendation (if required)

Statement of purpose

Proof of language proficiency

Passport copy

Application fee payment proof

 

Entrance Exams and Interviews: Some programs may require entrance exams or interviews as part of the admission process.
