It is the initiative dedicated to helping students incorporate in an overall well-being experience across campus. They allow students to indulge in well-being activities that support a holistic lifestyle actively. Through this initiative, students will learn and understand resources and how to help others in need. The university’s recreation department provides various facilities for students’ health and wellness, such as intramural sports, club sports, aquatics, fitness facilities, and outdoor recreation.

Food & Drink-

The University of Dayton has a variety of vibrant food scenes.  Since 2010, the university has received over eight national awards for excellence in college dining. The university’s open dining plan gives students access to food. The plans are designed to fit the busy schedule of students, and they assist with all dietary preferences by providing a wide range of dining options and healthy food options. Students can opt for anything they want at various restaurants and cafes available on campus.

There are many short-term getaways near the University of Dayton to have fun, like Benjamin and Marian Schuster Performing Arts Center, 2nd Street Public Market, Dayton Art Institute, Aullwood Audubon Center & farm, Riverscape Metro Park, Five Rivers Metroparks, the birthplace of aviation, Dayton aviation heritage national historical park, National Museum of the U.S. air force, Wright-Patterson air force base and there are many other options also available to spend holidays and weekends.
