University of Hagen History

University of Hagen also known as Fern Universitat in Hagen and FU Hagen is a German higher education institution located in Hagen, North Rhine-Westphalia. The university is a distant learning institution and was founded in 1974. Modelled on the UK’s Open University, the university is one of the largest in the country enrolling over 76000 students.

University of Hagen comprises of five faculties including Faculty of Cultural and Social Sciences, Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science, Faculty of Business Administration and Economics, Faculty of Law, and Faculty of Psychology offering a range of undergraduate and graduate programs.
